Maupin, Oregon

My next stop after leaving Sisters was Maupin, Oregon, a small town overlooking the Deschutes River about 45 miles south of The Dalles.
River recreation is the main draw for tourists and vacationers looking for whitewater rafting and fishing for Steelhead and trout. You will find a number of cafes and restaurants and several fly shops, rafting and other outdoor outfitters.
